CURT ROCCA
MANAGING PARTNER
As the Managing Partner of DCA Family Office, Curtis M. Rocca is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, focused on providing high-quality investment and family-related services. In addition to his role in DCA Family Office, Mr. Rocca serves as a General Partner and Investment Committee member of the Firm’s affiliated private equity funds, and as a Partner of the affiliated M&A advisory firm, DCA Partners.
Before founding DCA, Curt served as the Chief Executive Officer of Dental Partners, Inc., where he led the growth and operations of this multi-state healthcare consolidation, increasing revenues to over $30 million in 18 months. He then negotiated the sale of the company in late 2000. Prior to Dental Partners, Curt was the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Bio-Dental Technologies Corp., a NASDAQ-listed dental products firm. He also served in various management capacities with Marriott International, Inc. and Pacific Bell.
Throughout his career, Curt has served as a Senior Advisor and Board Member to a number of public and private organizations, including roles as the audit committee financial expert. Curt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, where he graduated cum laude.
Over the last decade, Curt has actively participated in multiple non-profit organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. John’s Center for Real Change, Capital Region Family Business Center, Comstock’s Magazine, Financial Executives International, Easterseals, UCP, Vistage, and the Sacramento Capital Cup.
CASEY LAYTON
CHIEF FINANCIAL AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Casey Layton is a highly experienced finance and accounting professional who is currently serving as the Chief Finance and Chief Compliance Officer at DCA Family Office. He also leads several key functions such as HR, administration, tax, and audit-related activities. He plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulations for all financial operations.
In addition to his role at DCA Family Office, he serves as CFO for the Firm’s affiliated private equity funds, and M&A advisory firm, DCA Partners. Casey is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Financial Executives International. He has developed strong modeling skills through his experience in finance and problem-solving since joining DCA in 2005.
Prior to DCA, Casey worked for Resources Global Professionals, Sierra Office Systems, Dental Partners, The McClatchy Company, and others. He serves as a Trustee for the UCP Foundation and has volunteered on the Capital Cup planning committee for six years. Casey earned his B.S. from CSU Fresno.
TOM BRATKOVICH
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
Tom Bratkovich is the Chief Investment Officer at DCA Family Office, where he manages the investment strategy, portfolio construction, deal sourcing, and investment underwriting activities for DCA’s Family Office clients.
Before joining DCA, Tom held a senior position at Wilshire Associates, where he was responsible for business development, new product launches, and deal sourcing for a $30 Billion AUM fund-of-funds platform. This platform allocated $2B/year to private equity, private credit, and private real assets investments, while Tom also developed and managed a co-investment platform for several family offices. Prior to his tenure at Wilshire, Tom worked at Longview Investment Partners and LP Capital Advisors, advising large institutional investors such as CalPERS, CalSTRS, and NY Common. Additionally, he was an early-stage venture capital investor.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA, an Master of Science in Aero/Astro Engineering from MIT, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Tom’s extensive experience in the investment industry has made him a valuable asset to DCA Family Office.
CHRIS STEPHENSON
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Chris Stephenson is the Chief Operating Officer for DCA Family Office. He is responsible for identifying, analyzing and conducting due diligence for real estate investments. Chris’s extensive experience in real estate investment and management has equipped him with valuable skills and expertise, making him a valuable asset to the DCA Family Office.
Chris has a wealth of experience in real estate investment, having held positions as Partner at Concrete Venture Capital in London and Managing Director at AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. He played a pivotal role in overseeing a multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolio across various continents, giving him a global perspective on the market and valuable connections in the United States, Europe, Middle East, and India.
Chris holds an MA in Real Estate from Cornell University and BS in Construction Management from CSU Sacramento. His accomplished track record and diverse background make him the ideal candidate to oversee and manage high-quality real estate investments for the DCA Family Office.
